Bennett Encke
Photographer / Visual Artist
Born and raised in Frankfurt (Germany), with a background in photography and geography and with a strong inclination toward high vantage points, peripheral zones, and landscapes at the edge of use and abandonment. My photographic work is shaped by an interest in urban imaginaries, planning histories, and infrastructure – spaces where social ideas, narratives of progress, and their frictions become visible. Hereby, I capture the world in moments suspended between liminal states and irreversible transformation.
