This video descends beneath Barcelona to find BESI, a legendary tunnel boring machine left rusting underground for 14 years after a fatal accident in 2008. In the final days before her removal, I returned to explore the subterranean world she had carved beneath the city one last time. The photographs were then collected in the limited-edition photobook.
