Rhein-Main
homeless
Deviating from the well-trodden paths of civilisation, encountering the marginalised has become an almost universal experience. I often find myself navigating urban peripheries while seeking out remote infrastructure—bridges, train tracks, and the like. I increasingly come across makeshift homes and remnants of lives seeking refuge amidst the foliage. These encounters, especially when their dwellers are present, always leave a lasting impression on me—stirring a strong sense of empathy and a heightened awareness of my own vulnerability. While this is not meant to be a systematic documentary, I’ve decided to include the photographs I’ve taken from time to time in this ongoing photo series.
