Veerlaan / tons & micrograms
tons & micrograms is a photopublication from Rotterdam documenting the structural remains of one of the last industrial grain silos in my neighbourhood of Katendrecht, during its demolition.
The silo was used to produce specialised food supplements for the livestock industry. It is now making way for the city’s newest cultural flagship: a dance theatre, next to the already completed Museum for Migration. The photographs were made using direct flash combined with long exposures.
Originally produced in a limited edition for an exhibition in Frankfurt, a small number of copies remain and are available exclusively here.
A5, saddle-stitched, 40 pages, limited edition.
